HarvestMark • Data deletion

Delete your HarvestMark data.

HarvestMark, by Sunniebend Tech (Sunniebend Technologies Inc.), keeps your farm records on your phone. Nothing is stored in the cloud unless you bought HarvestMark+ to sync your farm with others. Here is how to delete it all.

Delete in the app (fastest)

  1. Open HarvestMark and tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete My Data.
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.

This deletes, straight away:

  • every farm record on the phone: fields and boundaries, field activities, bin yards, bins and contents, bin activities, logged moisture, cached map images and exports;
  • if the phone shared a farm: that farm’s cloud copy, for every device it was shared with;
  • if the phone joined someone else’s farm: its membership in that farm (the owner’s farm itself is not affected);
  • the phone’s anonymous sync sign-in, and its HarvestMark+ activation on our server.

If the phone is offline, the phone data is deleted immediately and the cloud part runs the next time the app opens with a connection.

To delete only one shared farm’s cloud copy, the farm owner can use Manage My Farms → Delete synced farm. A member can use Manage My Farms → Leave Farm.

Delete without the app

If you uninstalled HarvestMark or no longer have the phone, email support@sunniebendtech.ca with the subject “Delete my HarvestMark data” and include what you can of:

  • the Install ID (shown in Settings, under the version number);
  • the farm name of any farm you shared or joined;
  • your Google Play order number, if you want your HarvestMark+ purchase record removed as far as the law allows.

HarvestMark has no usernames or passwords, so these details are how we find your records. We delete them and reply within 30 days.

Data that only ever lived on the phone is removed when you uninstall the app. Android may also keep an app backup in your Google account; you can delete it in your phone’s Google backup settings.
